A Few Tunes for Your Enjoyment......

We have had some requests to set up a blog so family and friends could know updates related to my recent diagnosis. Hopefully this will be of some value and help. I have so appreciated all the support and prayers from everyone and you have no idea how much it means and has helped me and my family. Thank you so very much!

(Thanks also to Candice, our daughter, for helping me set this blog up and much more, and to my dear husband, Jeff, whom I know Heavenly Father blessed me with - he is my anchor and my soul mate :o)

Radiation and Wonderful Blessings, You Gotta Love It

I haven't posted in awhile. I think I have been enjoying the life of leisure - no pokes by the doctor and just enjoying every day. Since my last chemo I have gotten to go to Palm Springs for training with our business and enjoying the beautiful resort and time with Jeff and friends. It was soooo wonderful I must say. I have been able to do more which is great, although getting into shape again will feel good too! :o) We had a baby shower with family for Candice which was SOOOOO much fun and she is looking really cute. That little girl is growing and we are looking forward to meeting her in about 6 weeks. Watch out, a new grandma is on the horizon :o).

I started radiation last week and it is so much easier than pretty much anything I've had to do with this cancer thing yet. Hopefully that continues. It is very fast too. I am in and out in no time. They did x-rays and radiation the first time, and you know, it feels the same. I leave feeling as good as when I go in. What a novel experience :o) It's a blessing to be through with the Chemo and I am grateful to have been soooo blessed with health and friends. Thank you for your kindnesses, friendship and prayers. It definitely teaches you to look at things differently and I am grateful for ALL the wonderful lessons I have learned through this experience and from you. I know I am not done yet, but it feels good to be where I am. I do know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and YOU.
