On September 8th I became officially a Grandma for the first time. Little (or might I say big) Quorra was born at 8lbs 1oz and 21 inches long to our daughter, Candice (who is little to have a baby that big) and her husband Nathan. Both are doing well, Mom is recovering and Quorra is growing :o) She is beautiful if I don't say so myself. What a blessing to have her here and both doing well. We are grateful once again. Heavenly Father blesses us soooooo much. It is true that being a Grandma is a wonderful experience. I LOVE holding her :o) I finished my radiation (yes already) the same week she was born. Pretty cool, huh! I did great and am moving forward, ready to enjoy life. The docs wanted me to take some medication for 5 years but am feeling I should be going a little more natural route on this part - at least for now. We'll see how that goes and my Oncologist is supporting me in my decision. I will be working closely with my doctors but now I am ready for the next chapter in my life - GRANDPARENTING!!!!! :o)
I'm as flighty as a feather
