Just a Little Info and Update

It all started when a friend was persistent and got me to go for my first mammogram and thank goodness she did. I was called back for additional pictures and an ultrasound. Jeff and I then met with the radiologist and were told that it was likely cancer and to have a biopsy. The following Friday we received results from the biopsy that yes it was cancer. There have been several miracles in my mind that have already taken place and I know that I am being watched over and protected. I count my blessings as I know many others are having much more difficult challenges.

I had my MRI yesterday - I've learned I CAN lay very still and not talk :o) !! Today my doctor called with the results and it showed that the cancer is in just the one area as they were hoping. Very good news! I meet with the surgeon on Monday and will find out more. I'm assuming the surgery will be next week. After the surgery we will then know more from the results of the pathology report. I am being truly blessed and feel I cannot complain. It's been a great day.
