A Few Tunes for Your Enjoyment......

We have had some requests to set up a blog so family and friends could know updates related to my recent diagnosis. Hopefully this will be of some value and help. I have so appreciated all the support and prayers from everyone and you have no idea how much it means and has helped me and my family. Thank you so very much!

(Thanks also to Candice, our daughter, for helping me set this blog up and much more, and to my dear husband, Jeff, whom I know Heavenly Father blessed me with - he is my anchor and my soul mate :o)

A New Day!

Yesterday was Mother's Day and quite eventful I might add. I woke up to some loose hair. Slightly alarming and not sure something you can prepare yourself for. So for Mother's Day we did a shaving party. I have been banned from humanity with a bald head ta boot. Was kind of a tough day but a growing day. I slept good last night and ready to move forward today. I think more make-up is in order these days, but alas, the sun is shining, it's beautiful outside and we can't cry over spilled milk (or lost hair). I'm getting accustomed to my "new look" and it is true - I can get ready VERY FAST! I thoroughly enjoyed today and I believe tomorrow I can also enjoy going out in public again. Very excited :o)

  1. I'm sorry to hear about your hair. You are such a strong woman. It amazes me to hear and see your great attitude through all of this. I just hope that if the time comes for me to face a similar challange in my life, that I will be able to face it with the same faith and attitude that you have through all of this so far. Thank you for your example. I hope your today is better then your yesterday.

  2. Wow Cindy you are amazing! I am sure that you have down times and just don't show them. YOu are a real trooper! I have always been kinda jealous that Jeff can jump in the shower and be ready for church in 10 minutes and WASH HIS HAIR TO BOOT! (what hair their is left) Hee hee
You and I would be quite a funny pair right now. I have been having my front tooth replaced (it's been thirty years)and on Sat morning the temp fell out! I was mortified, I had sharingtime on sunday too,but I have to giggle thinking of me with no front tooth and you with no hair. That is a funny picture to think of. Take care and keep smiling, you are so good at that! (and you have beautiful teeth) love you, Caroline

  4. Someone told me I had senseless humor that helps people smile. Just to see if that works I would like to tell a quick CHEEZY joke. Heh heh.
